Delivery of oversized tanks from Liepaja (LV) to Lviv (UA)

Project Description

In May 2008 LATSPED participated in the delivery of oversized cargo – 6 oversized tanks from Liepaja to Lviv.

Dimensions of each tank: 18m in length, 5.8m in diameter and 28 tons in weight.

When loaded in the truck, the dimensions are: LxBxH – 27m in length x 5.8m in diameter x 6.20m in height

The tanks arrived in Liepaja port, where they were loaded into our transport in a convoy of six semitrailer trucks, escorted by police cars, energy workers, telephone operators, maintenance cars. We covered the route from Liepaja port, via the territory of Belarus, to the «Lviv Brewery» located at: 18 Kleporovskaya str., Lviv.

Due to the complexity of the route on the territory of the brewery (area restrictions), 2 trucks entered the brewery per time during the night time.

LATSPED team demonstrated the professional quality of logistics, while the experience of our drivers was reconfirmed.
