Project Description

In October 2008 LATSPED for the second time in a row (the first time was in August 2007) took part in a unique project – transportation of an oversized cargo by road and ferry – tanks for the beer industry, from the Liepaja port to the center of Minsk in Belarus. Cargo dimensions (8 beer tanks) reached 17 meters in length and 6.50 meters in diameter (!), making the height 7.30 meters up from the ground, while the weight of each tank reached 20 tons.

Given the fact that this was the repeated experience of developing a similar project in 2007 year, cargo delivery was successful – perfectly on time and flawlessly smooth.
